In Sikharulidze’s view, exceptional personal qualities, passion for teaching, and high professionalism remain the key evaluation criteria for a teacher. However, a 21st-century teacher must also be open to innovations, new technologies, and knowledge. The most crucial aspect is readiness to collaborate with students, implement innovations alongside them, and consider their opinions and participation.

Sikharulidze believes that the 21st-century teacher is not just a teacher, but also a “friend” to the students, earning their trust, recognizing their individual qualities and needs, and helping them discover and develop their talents and skills. This can be achieved through involvement in non-formal educational programs and activities.

For Sikharulidze’s younger students, lessons often take the form of games, journeys, videos, and competitions, while older students tend to prefer a more traditional approach. Story writing exercises are employed to enhance students’ active and passive vocabulary, expand their lexicon, and improve their conversational skills. Grammar exercises aid in the understanding of grammatical concepts, while reading texts not only bolsters reading skills but also acquaints students with the culture and traditions of the language.

The teaching method is crucial in English instruction because it emphasizes accuracy over fluency, focusing on the development of reading and writing skills, with limited opportunities for listening and speaking practice. The English language’s importance in the modern world lies in its ability to facilitate effective communication, and teachers play a pivotal role in this process by acting as facilitators.

In the 21st century, teachers like Sikharulidze must concentrate on developing students’ higher-order thinking skills, effective communication, collaboration, and other skills necessary for success in today’s world. To achieve this, teachers must adopt new teaching strategies that diverge significantly from traditional methods. This innovative approach to teaching is what sets Sikharulidze apart as a 21st-century educator. She is committed to preparing her students for the demands of the modern world, equipping them with the skills they need to succeed.

the significance of method in English language teaching cannot be overstated. It prioritizes accuracy, which is crucial for building a strong foundation in language skills. However, it’s important to balance this with fluency, to ensure learners can effectively communicate in real-world scenarios.

The importance of the English language in the modern world lies in its role as a tool for communication. It bridges gaps and connects people globally, making it an essential skill for personal and professional growth.

Teachers in the 21st century are more than just educators; they are facilitators and leaders who inspire students to develop critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills. Their professional development is directly linked to their students’ success, highlighting the need for continuous learning and adaptation to new teaching strategies.

A 21st-century teacher embodies professionalism, exceptional personal qualities, and a passion for their profession. They embrace innovation and challenges, recognizing them as opportunities for growth and development. By employing diverse methods and engaging activities, they captivate students’ interest and foster a dynamic learning environment.

Learning foreign languages in the 21st century opens doors to understanding different cultures and perspectives. It sharpens the mind and offers a local’s view of the world, enriching one’s life experience.

Ultimately, a 21st-century education equips students with the skills to navigate an information-rich world. It empowers them to analyze, share, and apply knowledge effectively, fostering confidence and competence.

As we reflect on the evolving role of educators, we are reminded that “A good teacher isn’t someone who gives the answers out to their kids but is understanding of needs and challenges and gives tools to help other people succeed.” This philosophy encapsulates the essence of teaching in the modern era, where the true measure of a teacher’s success is the ability to empower students to thrive in an ever-changing landscape.

For Sikharulidze, it is essential to adapt her teaching style and methods to suit each student’s individual needs. Teaching is vital to empower, prepare, and positively impact learners of all ages, future generations, future teachers, and communities. It is the cornerstone of progress, whether for kindergarten or college-age students. By inspiring students to achieve their goals and become independent and productive members of society, educators like Sikharulidze can make a significant contribution.
