Sheikh Mohammed Approves Housing for 1,300 Dubai Families

Mohammed bin Rashid has granted housing aid worth over AED 1 billion to more than 1,300 UAE citizens through the Sheik Zayed Housing Program this January. The program’s new application process now takes just two months to complete – among the fastest processing times worldwide. The UAE’s housing initiative wants to process applications on the same day, which shows its steadfast dedication to support citizens. Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has also approved AED 5.4 billion for Dubai’s housing projects that will build 3,004 new homes. This decision highlights the government’s commitment to deliver quick and practical housing solutions to its citizens.

Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid’s Housing Initiative Overview

The Sheik Zayed Housing Program has increased support with several mutually beneficial initiatives. Beneficiaries who build homes in designated residential compounds can now receive housing assistance up to AED 1.2 million. Those who build outside these areas qualify for up to AED 800,000.

Dubai’s housing projects are spread in multiple locations. Latifa City will have 1,181 homes under the housing loan category. The housing grant category includes several developments. These include 606 homes in Al Yalayis 5, 432 homes in Wadi Al Amardi, 398 homes in Al Awir 1, 200 homes in Hatta’s Makan area, 120 homes in Oud Al Muteena, and 67 homes in Dubai’s countryside.

The initiative strongly supports newly wed Emiratis to strengthen family stability and improve their quality of life. The Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment has created complete plans that address citizens’ housing needs for the next 20 years.

The program works alongside the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan to use space effectively throughout the emirate. The housing system keeps evolving with plans to create an integrated framework that connects all financing and housing agencies. This modernization is part of the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Program that eliminates unnecessary procedures and makes services more efficient.

Streamlined Application Process

The UAE government’s new ‘Manzili’ bundle has 18 housing services working with 24 federal and local government entities. This complete system makes the housing application process simpler by cutting down the number of entities from 11 to 1. The document requirements dropped from 10 to 2.

Technology improvements have made the application process better with these changes:

  • Steps reduced from 14 to 3
  • Service fields decreased from 32 to 5
  • Monthly processing capacity jumped 88%, now handling 4,500 requests instead of 2,400

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment now runs completely on cloud computing. Citizens can track their construction progress and make better decisions about their projects thanks to flexible cloud-based services.

Mobile apps like ‘ISKAN Abu Dhabi’ let users create housing profiles and check their request status automatically. The system checks eligibility through robotic process automation, which reduces human involvement and improves accuracy. This efficient process matches the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Program’s goals to cut unnecessary steps and deliver better services to citizens.

Administrative Modernization Efforts

The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority uses innovative technology to boost its administrative efficiency. In fact, the authority relies on a robotic process automation system that automatically checks housing applicant eligibility.

This tech upgrade has delivered impressive results. The new system processes 4,500 requests monthly – an 88% increase from an employee’s capacity of 2,400 requests. The automation reduces human error and leads to higher customer satisfaction.

The ISKAN Abu Dhabi application serves as an interactive digital platform that brought these improvements:

  • Customer satisfaction rate reached 98% by end of 2023
  • Phone inquiries about application status decreased by 49.5% compared to 2022
  • Paper consumption eliminated entirely, projected to save over 200,000 sheets in five years

The authority’s push for administrative modernization matches Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision of efficient government services. These improvements support the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Program to eliminate unnecessary procedures by the end of 2024.

The Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure oversees the housing sector at the federal level and has optimized operations through cloud computing. This digital upgrade allows AI-powered assessment of user eligibility, which keeps rejection rates under 5%.

Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid‘s complete housing initiative represents one of the most important steps forward in UAE’s citizen welfare programs. The AED 1 billion aid package will help over 1,300 citizens and shows the leadership’s dedication to providing the quickest way to solve housing needs.

UAE’s technological progress has revolutionized the application process. The waiting period has dropped to just two months through robotic process automation that gives citizens a smooth experience.

Housing projects spread strategically across Dubai will create balanced development throughout the emirate. Projects from Latifa City to Hatta’s Makan area meet housing needs of all types and support the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.

Administrative modernization has produced remarkable results. ISKAN Abu Dhabi platform boasts a 98% customer satisfaction rate and has drastically cut paper usage. These results highlight the benefits of digital transformation. UAE’s housing sector now serves as a model that optimizes citizen welfare through innovative solutions with a steadfast dedication to excellence.
