Middle Eastern VC funds have channeled over USAED 13.22 billion into global climate tech ventures in 2024. The region’s clean energy investment outlook remains strong with projections reaching USD 175 billion in 2024. Clean energy now represents about 15% of the total investment portfolio.

The two-day event showed how working together across the region can speed up climate solutions. Several initiatives stood out. The ClimateTech World Cup, CARE Launchpad, Innovation Program, and ESG Awards showed the region’s dedication to sustainability innovation. These programs helped boost Dubai’s position as a hub for climate finance and environmental policy.
Climate tech funding has seen ups and downs lately. Still, the forum revealed many investment opportunities across different sectors. Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Oman’s sovereign funds are leading the way with major green investments. On top of that, the GCC could tap into a massive AED 3.67 trillion opportunity in global green FDI. This shows how sustainability-focused policies can benefit the economy.
CARE MENA 2025’s influence reaches far beyond the event itself. Without doubt, it has created a platform that will shape policy and guide the region’s sustainability agenda in the years ahead. This first gathering is more than just a conference. It represents a milestone for climate action, renewable energy progress, and sustainable investment throughout the MENA region.
